Rescue "Rubber Ducky" and Tree Planting Projects

We provided a "Rubber Ducky"Rescue Boat for disability people learning to sail.

 

 

In August , the Lions and Partners of the Marion Lions Club comtinued their Project by planting another 700 trees in thr Braeside Area of Marion. This Brings the Total Trees Planted to 2,200. It is planed to plant some 10,000 trees over a 10 year period

The Club decided to commenceis activiry following the challenge by PIP Tam. With support of Jerry Smith From the Marion City Council Gardens Department who arranged the site and dug the holes and supplied thesmall  plants --agrant from the City of Marion --and a Donation from the Westpac Cal Centre Staff Community Fund. For the second year  enjoyed the efforts om many members of the Staff from the WBC call Centre who attended the Site and assisted in planting the trees . We look Forward to support of any interasted people who woul like to help us next August 

 

We also support ' The Royal Flying Doctor service', ' Overseas Specialist Surgical Assocation of Australia''  ,'Daw House Hopice Foundation',' Royal District Nurses Services', and many more worth while organizations
